I want to know what are the uses of the wood charcoal other

I am very much aware of the only use of wood charcoal, as it is used as the best source of the cooking fuel, and everyone used it so commonly for making barbeque, but I have learned that there are other uses of wood charcoal as well, which is why there are a large number of wood charcoal buyers around the world. Can someone kindly let me know what are the other major uses of the wood charcoal and what role they play in different areas where they are used?
