Do you regularly shop at the same shop? Do you have your car running at autopilot every time you decide that it's time to upgrade your wardrobe? And before you know it, you find yourself in the same familiar parking lot? You have many choices when you are shopping for clothing. It is helpful to have several options. What are the best ways to choose the best clothes? Here are some tips to help narrow down your choices.

Geographical - which stores are actually in close proximity (presuming you are going to the brick and mortar store)
Budgetary - how much money you want to invest
Personal styling preference - If your preference is for a more artistic style, you'll shop at a different store as compared to someone who is more a fan of classic or vintage styles.. Try japanese fashion for size.
Your size: Unfortunately, not all stores carry petite, plus, and clothing for tall ladies.
Size of the store - Sometime we prefer smaller stores over big ones (or vice versa).

Which are the top stores to go to? This is an overview of the best stores, but it's not enough if you only shop at a few or feel limited by their selection. This is the method I use to help my clients determine where to shop.

Large department. stores (e.g. Macy's and Kohl's) These are great when you have a lot of requirements that you must complete in one visit. You can find clothing, shoes and coats within the store, without leaving the store. And there are department stores to suit all budgets.
Specialty chain stores like Talbots and Banana Republic - Each store has its own style and it's worth looking at the seasons to find clothing that is in line with your preferences. It is easy to mix and match your outfits and the customer service is top-notch.
TJ Maxx Marshalls Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx Off-Price Stores You have two options: either go with an open heart and let the goodies come to you or make a an inventory of the things you need so that you don't end up lost. The key is self-control. It's easy for people to get overwhelmed by the price and end up buying things they don't actually require. If you're easily overwhelmed having a plan can assist in making the process easier.

Also, I need to mention boutiques. They are usually owned locally and are able to fill an vital need in your clothes shopping experience. You can find the look and feel you're searching for in these stores. Some boutiques have exclusive or hand-crafted designs, and others cater to particular categories of age. It's not the same styles at department stores.

Women are often anxious about going to a shop, being afraid that they'll spend too much money or be sold to by salespersons. This may be true in certain situations but they're not always the case. Visit them to learn more! They often have great sales at the end-of-season and are a great time to purchase fun new items for your wardrobe. What is the latest shopping experience you can include in your shopping list next time you visit? Have fun! !
